This project stems from a development with a clear objective: to offer a different, functional house, designed to be lived in as a family. The plot, flat and rectangular, allowed to make the most of the buildable area and at the same time to leave a large garden with quality of use.
The house is organized in three structural crumbles, which organize all the spaces. On the ground floor are concentrated the parking, the access and the day area -living room, dining room and kitchen open to the garden-, as well as a bedroom and a bathroom; and on the second floor there are three bedrooms and a study that functions as an intermediate space: open to the double central space, it connects the living upstairs and downstairs and is an intermediate point between the day area and the more private area of the house.
The house is compact, but with a very direct relationship with the outside. The main rooms face south and open onto the garden and swimming pool, while openings to the north have been reduced to a minimum. The overhanging porches control the sunlight and allow the enjoyment of the outdoors for a good part of the year.
Although built with traditional systems, the house achieves maximum energy efficiency thanks to passive measures: good insulation, high-performance fuses, elimination of thermal points and increased ventilation. The result is a healthy and comfortable house, ready for intensive use.
Beyond the clean and tidy image, what defines the project is the quality of the interior spaces and the fluid connection with the exterior. A contemporary and functional house, designed for day-to-day living.
